Bluefin are looking to recruit a Purchasing Manager for a leading Manufacturing company based in Derby. The role will involve will involve negotiating with suppliers at all levels to maintain ongoing cost savings without compromising quality.
Requirements:
- Must have experience of working within the Manufacturing Sector
- A technical background would be advantageous in order to understand the requirements of the products
- Excellent Communication skills are essential as the role will involve liasing directly with suppliers and staff at all levels
- Previous management / supervisory experience would be a distinct advantage as you will be responsible for managing 2 procurement officers
- CIPS would be preferable but is not essential
- Full driving license is essential as there will be a need to visit suppliers
