Bluefin Recruitment are searching for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join an SME Manufacturing business based in Leicester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the daily liaison with suppliers to ensure adherence to performance standards regarding price, quality, and delivery
- Create purchase orders using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and purchase requisitions
- Attend daily production meetings to ensure the timely arrival of materials, supporting both production schedules and customer requirements
- Manage and maintain appropriate stock levels, balancing production demands with the need to avoid overstocking
- Update and maintain supplier information in the system, including pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQs), order methods, and contact details
- Address and resolve any invoice discrepancies with suppliers
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Purchasing Manager as needed
Skills Required:
- Solid understanding of materials management, inventory control, and warehouse operations
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet targets
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a proactive and forward-thinking approach
