Bluefin Recruitment are searching for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join an SME Manufacturing business based in Leicester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the daily liaison with suppliers to ensure adherence to performance standards regarding price, quality, and delivery
  • Create purchase orders using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and purchase requisitions
  • Attend daily production meetings to ensure the timely arrival of materials, supporting both production schedules and customer requirements
  • Manage and maintain appropriate stock levels, balancing production demands with the need to avoid overstocking
  • Update and maintain supplier information in the system, including pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQs), order methods, and contact details
  • Address and resolve any invoice discrepancies with suppliers
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Purchasing Manager as needed


Skills Required:

  • Solid understanding of materials management, inventory control, and warehouse operations
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet targets
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude with a proactive and forward-thinking approach
  • Strong logical and analytical thinking skills
